Aunt Thea's Sweet Rolls

Sweet Rolls
Get your dough out of the freezer probably the night before you want to make them and let it thaw out in the frig. When you are ready to make them roll out the dough on a floured board to a rectangle shape (about 1/4" thick it will make a nice roll,12" long maybe 5-6" wid)
Spread the dough with margarine or butter. Then mix up brown sugar and cinnimon. It will take about 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Spread that on the butter and then add your raisins. Roll that all up and slice off into 10-12 rolls. Roll from the width up so your roll will be 12" long. slice them so they are about 1" thick. I wouldnt slice them thicker than 1-1/2". Then let them rise so they are "double " in size. It will take an hour. If the dough is really cold it may take longer. Sometimes I heat the oven to 200 shut it off and then put the rolls in the warm oven to rise. That way you can let them rise 45 min. and then preheat your oven before you bake them. Just becareful when you take the raised rolls out of the oven not to bump them hard or drop them. That could make them deflate. Preheat the oven to 350 and then bake 15-20 minutes. They start to get nice and brown on top and if you stick in a cake tester it will come out clean. Then frost with the carmel frosting and yum! (my aunt wrote this for me cause i don't know anything about baking, so some of the stuff that is said, I just don't want u to think that I think you're dumb..lol)

Carmel Frosting
1 stick of margerine
1 cup brown sugar bring these to boil for 2 min.
Add: 1/4 cup of milk and bring to a boil again
Add: 2-1/2 to 3 cups of confex sugar and mix well

The frosting is enough for 2 things of dough worth of rolls, I just bought the dough from the freezer section at Tops.. and I put walnuts and stuff in them too.
