Italian Cream Cheese Chicken Casserole

2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp flour
3 cups chicken broth
8 oz. cream cheese
1 Tbsp Italian dressing mix
1/2 Tbsp dried minced onion
1/2 Tbsp dried minched garlic
1-2 cooked & cubed chicken breasts
1 box rotini pasta or brown rice
1 head steamed broccoli or 1/2 bag frozen

Cook pasta al dente (slightly firm)
Melt butter over medium heat and whisk in the flour
Once mixed well, add broth slowly while whisking.
At a gentle boil, stir occasionally and simmer for 5 minutes till thickened
Add in cream cheese and seasonings (add more seasoning to taste) Simmer couple more minutes
Grease 9x13 pan, add pasta, chicken and broccoli.
Pour cream cheese mixture over everything and bake at 350 for 20 minutes

Stir before serving
