4 lbs cooking apples, peeled, coed & sliced
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup water
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/8 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp nutmeg
Place apple slices in 3 1/2-4 quart slow cooker. Stir in sugar, water, vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, allspice and nutmeg.
Cover and cook on high-heat for 5-6 hours.
Stir and cool. Ladle into canning, airtight or freezer jars.
Leave 1/2 inch head space. Seal and label, store in fridge 3 weeks for freezer for 1 year
