Sour Cream Drops

1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

1) In mixing bowl, cream shortening, sugar & egg. Add sour cream & vanilla
2) Combine dry ingredients separately, then add to creamed mixture
3) Refrigerate for an hour
4) Spoon drop on greased cookie sheet
5) Bake at 425 for 7-8 minutes


FROSTING:
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3 to 4 tsp hot water

Melt butter in saucepan, stir in sugar, vanilla and enough water to spread nicely. Frost cookies once cooled.
